Thumbs up for another Makeup Artist feature!
I happy to note that some college classmates ventured into the makeup industry, maybe mass communications has a great influence because our employment possibilities could be in front of television, in magazines, and other media, and makeup indeed is necessary.
My freshman classmate, Kimberly Ann Chua has become a professional award winning makeup artist and airbrush specialist. She is the founder of Beauty Crafts by Kiran (BCK).
Kim finished her professional airbrush course at Make Up Forever Academy, Singapore, and Pro Makeup Artistry course at Maquillage Professionel. She specializes in high fashion makeup, bridal makeup, bridal, and photography makeup. Did I mention that she is a certified hairstylist too? So Kim is one stop beautifier fairy.
Aside from doing makeup for her clients she conducts workshops too. Kim wants to share her knowledge to each one of us.
Kim is also the owner of BCK Cosmetics & Tools, a shop where you can find high quality makeups and tools in such an affordable prize.
Knowing Kim personally, she’s very bubbly and fun to be with. You will look at her when she enters the classroom and you will just laugh with her punch lines. I remember seeing her putting on mascara in between classes.
I should say that I am very proud of her in her accomplishment in a very young age.
My classmates in the beauty industry inspire me to pursue things in the industry too.

I use this trick too! For pressed powders that are too light naman, I keep them to set foundations that are a bit too dark, or just for touchups in the middle of the face for a Kardashian-glow effect 🙂 Super hinayang kasi ako talaga pag may nasasayang na makeup, kahit pa hindi high-end
Wala naman nagabi na if pressed powder hindi mo na pwedeng gamitin as bronzer and whatsoever. They have the same ingredients lang naman. :))

Buti you can use darker shades. Ako I always use lighter shade for powder and foundation because I am acidic. :p

I have not encountered buying a darker shade of powder, but this is great tip if that happened to me. 🙂
