28 January 2016 marked the day when finally Trinoma has their own nail salon/spa. It’s hard to find salons that are not jam-packed when you wanna be pampered in a mall.
It’s located at 3F Trinoma, near Powermac Center, the exit going to Mindanao Parking (in front of Henry’s Professional).
The place is huge, smells really nice, and cold. The interior is to die for too.
At first, I thought Kitchenails is a concept salon where you can order food while having your nails done.
It is more of a pampering concept where you get services named after a dessert or get to choose a chef special.
The Chef (receptionist) will greet you and get your order through their menu. She will then give it to the available Nail Server (technician) and she will repeat your order. Another server will get the “ingredients” ready.
They will ask you what shape you want to have, if you are going to have your ingrown/dry skin removed, nail buff, shine buff, and others.
They will pamper you the way you wanted.
If you will notice their tools are from the kitchen – whisk, pans, trays, tongs, spatula, name it.
They follow protocol on how your services are going to be done. The entire concept is impressive enough, that they trained people just use kitchen terms.
It’s like you are in a restaurant ordering a specialty.
I had the Spiced Plum Pannacotta flavored hand spa and manicure. It’s smells really good. If you are adventurous you can get to combine different ingredients such as oil, scrub, ‘icing’ (mask), and lotion.
Their prices ranges from 80php – 1000php depending on the package you wish to avail. Their polishes ranges from L.A. Colors, Essie, Orly, and some gel polishes.
I will suggest to visit around 10am, just in time for the mall opening, as the place could get in demand with clients.
My only comment is, they do not have a ladies room, I am not sure with Ayala Malls if they encouraged rest rooms inside an establishment. I had to go at the employees rest room to take a pee, while my arms are wrapped in cling.
Overall, I am just so happy that Trinoma has now a place where after a shopping marathon I can have my nails done.
Kitchenails and Nail it! Salon have the same owner.
