I am back…again…from outer space…

Finally the blog is back, alive, and kicking.

I was just asking Deann to make me a softer theme version of my existing blog as I plan a revamp when this blog turn one (1) on June. Unfortunately, I encountered a problem with my host, I don’t know why I stayed with them for a year.

I was talking to them to fix the WordPress issue so that I can install my new blog theme but they cannot fix it.

I told them that I was moving into a new host after Eya, Deann, and Genzel convinced me to do so. When I informed them they took down the site without even asking me if I gathered all my files.

I telephoned them, long distance, they are based in Cebu and they gave me 48 hours to collect my posts.

Before 11:59 pm of April 21 (Sunday) the site was suspended.

I tried downloading the database and backup, Deann and my boyfriend did the same thing.

When we about to export, all the files were damaged.

I do not want to dwell on the idea that I can no longer retrieve my posts because I know I have them.

Thanks to Windows Live Maker all my posts are intact. Except for some that the photos were lost.

I spent two days reposting everything.

All the comments were gone.

The rankings went down.

Still I look at it positively thinking that everything would be okay.

I finished reposting last night.

Deann finished installing and refurbishing the blog today.

I am happy with the result.

I know whatever I lost I will be able to gain them in other ways magic would permit.

I shall continue doing this because I love it.

I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to these girls who were not sleeping just to cheer me up and encourage me – Eya and Genzel. And most especially to Deann who made everything possible. She’s a genius.

This is how the blog looks now.

Of course I want it all purple and simple.

It feels good to blog again.
