Heroine Make launches new eye makeup – Jewelry Eye

Press & Events

Date Stamp: April 26 2015

I’ve always believed that Japanese has eyes for beauty; they make amazing products not just for makeup but also skin care. When I received the invite for the launching I am so excited and confirmed my attendance immediately. It was an intimate afternoon of makeup, fun, and learnings held the Mandom office in Makati.

Princess Elizbeth Himeko

I remember my paper dolls when I saw Princess Elizabeth Himeko, their brand icon. The event was hosted by the gorgeous Mika Javier, then she introduced Miss Igarashi.

Miss Sayuri Igarashi is a professional makeup artist, her career started in 1980, she joined Isehan in 2006 where she was in charge in promotions, workshops, and seminars in each country.

She asked for volunteers from the audience and then she demo a day and night makeup using the new Jewelry eyeshadows.

KISS ME makeup line is perfect for Asian women because its formula is made to withstand from the humid weather in the country. One technique I learned from the workshop is that you use pink eyeshadow for tired eyes, since our skin tends to be darker when tired, the pink pigment neutralizes it. I also like the technique for deep-set eyes (please wait for a recreation) and even how to contour the nose properly.

The Jewelry Eye makeup comes with a quad of different color combinations – Yellow Sapphire, Beige, Gold, Pink Amethyst, and Rose Garnet. It’s waterproof, smudge proof, tear proof and sweat proof. It also has a primer included in the quad.

Of course I wouldn’t go home without a photo with Miss Igarashi.
