Hi guys!
Today’s post is a short one, I just want to share my current facial wash that I am repurchasing. It’s the Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Wash; I saw it in Watsons while I am strolling for new products I like to feature here. I also purchased its scrub partner – Himalaya Herbal Gentle Exfoliating Walnut Scrub with Natural Anti Oxidant for my once a week exfoliation routine.
About
Himalaya Herbals is a range of natural, effective and safe products that use special herbs carefully selected from nature. Combining the best of Ayurveda with years of Scientific research, these products effectively restore your skin’s natural health and vitality.
[Neem Wash] Specially formulated to give you clear, problem-free skin, a soap-free, daily use face wash gel that cleanses your skin by removing excess oil and impurities without over drying. Neem, well-known for its purifying and antibacterial properties, kills problem-causing bacteria. Combined with turmeric, it helps control acne and pimples leaving your skin soft, clear, refreshed, and problem free.
[Walnut Scrub] Routine cleansing does not remove dead skin cells and deeply embedded impurities, leaving skin lifeless and prone to blackheads. Exfoliating regularly is the key to deep cleansing and removing debris. This gentle scrub is fortified with Walnut granules that gently exfoliate dead skin cells and blackheads while Apple rich in natural antioxidant, helps stimulate cell renewal to show healthy and soft looking skin.
“That was long… Ugh”
I am hitting pan bottle for the Neem Facial Wash and I am completely satisfied as it’s the only gel type cleanser, take note, soap free, that actually did not break me out. Most cleanser if not too strong, they’re too gentle. Having a combination skin (T-zone is oily, cheeks are patchy) it’s hard to use products that aren’t customized for your skin type.
With Himalayas, it gently cleanses my face, the lather is just right, the smell (well) I like the smell, but I have asked a friend who uses the same face wash and stopped because of the fragrance; it leaves the skin squeaky clean without over stripping the moisture.
I use it twice a day and I am addicted. My toner is Olay Oil Control / Moisturizer is The Body Shop Vitamin E.
It also claims to contain NO parabens, SLS/SLES, and phthalates, which is a big plus for me.
Same thoughts with the Walnut scrub, it’s not harsh and it does not over strip the face. It leaves the skin brighter and more refreshed.
Surprisingly, Himalaya Herbals have a good range of products which I will try next (moisturizer).
If you wish to try this product go to the nearest Watsons, get the 50 ml, and see for yourself.
DISCLAIMER: What works for me might won’t work for you. Try at your own risk.
Since this is skincare and it’s a face wash, I would like to give gentle reminders as some people might have other reactions when they use this. Of course the best advice is to consult your dermatologist to be properly assessed on what products you need to use.
