Allowing your skin to be exposed under the sun is one of the worst habits you can have. Those lines found on your face are mainly caused by sun damage. Too much sun exposure can fast forward your aging. Aside from wearing scarves, long sleeves, and bumblebee sunglasses, the absolute and the most inexpensive way to prevent this is to use a good and broad spectrum sun protection every single day. Even if you will not be directly exposed under the sun you should use one.
In this post I am going to review/feature my current sunscreen. Honestly, I really don’t use one before because I feel I have tons of products on my face (moisturizer – primer – sunscreen – foundation GRR). But when I got this my skin thanked me after days of using it.
I am talking about this V&M Keep Safe Facial Sunblock with SPF 35
Emu Oil, Olive Oil, Tea Tree Extract, Seaweed Extract, Vitamin A, Titanium Oxide, and Vitamin E
Net Weight:
1.76 ounce (50 grams)

This sunscreen is jam-packed with ingredients giving my skin fully-loaded goodies.
Let me give you a background.
Emu Oil
From the Emu Bird found in Australia, this oil is claimed to be the miracle oil because of its benefits to the skin. It’s a natural skin softener, anti-inflammatory, reduces itch & swelling from insect bites and lots more. I will discuss Emu Oil further when I review the oil itself.
Olive Oil
Rich in anti-oxidants, excellent moisturizer for dry areas of the body, good facial cleanser, and repairs the skin from sun damage (because of polyphenol).
Tea Tree Extract
Another ingredient only found in Australia, this is very effective for acne treatment because of its anti-bacterial properties; similar to the standard acne treatment, benzoyl peroxide.
Seaweed Extract
Found in most eye cream/serum as it brings back the moisture in the skin. It also regenerates the skin cells, nourishes it, detoxifies, oxygenates, and hydrates it. It also contains iodine, zinc, potassium, magnesium, copper, and calcium minerals which make it absorb faster by the skin giving it texture and more toned appearance.
Vitamin A
Gives skin protection against free radicals, speeds up healing process (acne recovery), and has retinols to reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
Titanium Oxide
The product’s key ingredient – TiO2 is a physical sunscreen against harmful UVB and UVA rays. It is perfect for people who have sensitive skin because it does not contribute any irritation compare to Zinc Oxide (another physical sunscreen). This is what gives most sunscreen a white residue when applied to the skin.
Vitamin E
The most popular skin aid of all times, it has antioxidants, it treats numerous skin diseases, it regulates Vitamin A, it heals sun burn as well as protects it, and it treats scars.
***
The combination of the ingredients makes it the super sunscreen found in the market. It’s all pure and natural. Your skin is protected from the sun while it enjoys the other benefits of from the other ingredients.
My experiences/comments:
- All natural ingredients
- Though it has titanium oxide it doesn’t give white cast on me
- It dries up fast
- It heals my pimples as well as their scars
- I can wear it alone
- It doesn’t feel heavy
- My skin feels supple after using it
- The tea tree extract smells the prominent
- Does not break me out (compare to the sunscreens I have tried)
- Sometimes, when you won’t let it dry indoor it tends to be watery/greasy when exposed to the sun
- It’s a moisturizer and a sunscreen in one pot
- Reasonable Price
Others:
- Straightforward packaging, sturdy
- Perfect consistency, it’s between a mousse and cream
Will I continue to patronize the product?
- Oh yeah!
Overall, this is my favorite sunscreen. I learned that besides makeup we should really focus on taking care of our skin first. Sun damage is the number one factor why we aged fast and as always prevention is better than cure.
Kudos to V&M for formulating such product!
I hope you all learned about sun protection in this post I missed writing such post like this. I also hope that you can find your Holy Grail sunscreen.
NOTE: If you happened to be allergic on any of the ingredient mentioned above please do not risk your face by trying it. If you are brave like me, go ahead.
